Nylong Symphony #2 - Crystal. As water turns to ice, it undergoes a phase change beginning with small ice crystals that grow until they fuse, forming a polycrystalline structure. The physical properties of the ice depend on the size and arrangement of the individual crystals, or grains. And so, my composition begins with the liquid sound of a solitary fretless guitar playing a single note, growing to form huge undulating masses.

Nylong Symphony #2 - Crystal. En devenant glace, l’eau change de phase : de petits cristaux de glace se forment, puis grandissent jusqu’à fusionner en une structure polycristalline. Les propriétés physiques de la glace dépendent de la taille et de l’agencement des cristaux individuels ou grains. De même, ma composition commence par le son liquide d’une unique guitare « fretless » jouant une seule note qui grandit pour former d’énormes masses ondulatoires.
